Webmin Update from 1.730 to 1.740 fails to execute
Running E.F.A 3.0.0.7. Running Webmin 1.730. Login to Webmin and presented with a button to upgrade Webmin version from 1.730 to 1.740. I click the button, it finishes downloading then fails to update: .. download complete. Failed to upgrade from http://www.webmin.com : RPM signature verification fa...

Cent OS Upgrade?
For about a week now, whenever I log into the Webmin interface, and view the system status, it is prompting me to update CentOS versions. Apparently to go from CentOS 6.5, to 6.6? Here is snapshot of my Webmin screen: http://i60.tinypic.com/2qd4dat.png Has anybody else been prompted with this update...

Ham being marked as spam
I have a certain domain that I have whitelisted from SQLGrey, whitelisted from SpamAssassin in spam.whitelist.rules, and have whitelisted the domain as to not get caught in in any RBL checks in recipient_access. Not all, but some, maybe 2% of emails, still somehow get scanned by SpamAssassin and wil...

Re: EFA, ShellShock and CGI
Sorry for the dumb question but just to verify... So by updating my EFA from 3.0.0.5 to 3.0.0.6, I do not have to run the yum update as it has the bash update incorporated into it?

Re: Unable to create scheduled backup
So I'm not sure what changed between versions, but an upgrade for Webmin was available today to upgrade from 1.700 to 1.710. So I went ahead and upgraded. Once the upgrade was done, I went into System > Filesystem Backup > And click on the [...] button, and am able to select directories now. Problem...

Re: RBL settings - combination use - blocking vs scoring
What happens if I put the same RBL in the MailScanner.conf and the postfix.conf (like I have before)? Is it an uneccessary redundancy, or will it actually hinder performance (not check against the RBL at all, or use more resources?) Is one way preferred over the other? Is their a pointer to look at ...

Feature Request section
Wasn't sure where to post this, so I'm making a post about it. Do you think we could create a new section under "E.F.A 3.x.x.x." called "Feature Requests"? I think it would be a good place to place posts that don't seem to fit under Bugs, or How-To's. For instance, I wanted to as...

Software left out of list
I just noticed on: http://efa-project.org/about/, that the package, SQLGrey, is not listed as the Grey listing function that comes packaged with the software.

Re: Whitelisting in SQLGrey
It appears single-address greylisting is working, if that's any consolation. Say I send a test email from test@yahoo.com. in telnet the server replies it has been greylisted for 5 minutes. So after 5+ minutes I try sending from the same address, test@yahoo.com, and it no longer greylists it and I am...

Re: Unable to create scheduled backup
The only customization I did, was when I logged into Webmin for the first time, it prompted me that I was running an older version of Webmin (1.660) and an update is available (1.700), so I ran the update, and that seemed to work fine. I did not try using the backup option before upgrade Webmin vers...

Re: Unable to create scheduled backup
I've noticed two places in Webmin where I've tried to make a local backup, and I get the aforementioned error:
System > Filesystem Backup
and
Webmin > Backup Configuration Files - trying the Local file option
System > Filesystem Backup
and
Webmin > Backup Configuration Files - trying the Local file option

Re: emails not being sent to server!
I don't know what mail server you are using but we use MS Exchange at my office. I had also changed the IP address of the EFA at one point and mail stopped making it to Exchange. In the Exchange console, I forgot I had to change the IP address from the old IP to my new IP under Local SMTP Relay Prop...

Whitelisting in SQLGrey
All I am trying to do is whitelist the domain yahoo.com (just for testing) so it doesn't get greylisted. My mail server is not live yet, so to test, I am just using telnet into 25 and using fake email addresses (test@yahoo.com) in the MAIL FROM: section. I added each one at a time and tested, and al...

After viewing the chooser.cgi file it was referencing, I showed number lines in vi, and found this section around line 192 that it references. 187 if ($f eq "..") { 188 $dir =~ /^(.*\/)[^\/]+\/$/; 189 $link = "<a href=\"\" onClick='parentdir(\""."e_javascri...

MYSQL default credentials
This may or may not be a n00b question, but when logged into Webmin, under Servers, and MySQL Database Server, it is asking for a login. I tried the root user and user I created when setting up the EFA box, I tried sqlgrey/sqlgrey, root/root, and others. I just can't seem to crack it.

Re: Mass Import WhiteList/BlackList
Actually, what would be really helpful is finding what conf file it is writing to when adding Whitelist/Blacklist addresses. I thought it was writing to: /etc/MailScanner/rules/spam.whitelist.rules However, I added a a dummy from and to address and added it to the Whitelist. cat /etc/MailScanner/rul...

Re: Mass Import WhiteList/BlackList
I was just wondering if any mass import tools has been created yet?
I am migrating from an older version of MailScanner standalone, and have a ton of whitelisted/blacklisted addresses. It would probably take me 4+ hours to manually enter all of them through the mailscanner WebUI

Safe to ugprade CentOS versions?
I noticed that the current 3.0.0.1 E.F.A virtual appliance for VMWare is using CentOS6.5 (when logged into console thru vSphere Client). I have since upgraded to E.F.A 3.0.0.4 and all is working well now. I was wondering if the next release of E.F.A (3.0.0.5?) is going to utilize CentOS 7.0?
