Re: Update to 3.0.0.8 clamd issue
What do you get when you run: sudo yum list installed clam* Should be similar to: Installed Packages clamav.x86_64 0.98.7-1.el6 @epel clamav-db.x86_64 0.98.7-1.el6 @epel clamd.x86_64 0.98.7-1.el6 @epel Is there any difference ? That appears to be what I have on 3.0.0.8: Installed Packages clamav.x8...

Re: Update to 3.0.0.8 clamd issue
Same issue here, though do not have any repos that I am aware of installed other than whatever EFA needs. Had to change the user to clam and the databasedirectory as well. Not sure the cause either. Stock setup, and while my setup was set to auto update, it did not and was still at 3.0.0.6. This hap...

Re: EFA, ShellShock and CGI
Thanks for the quick reply!
I assumed BASH/SSH would be vulnerable (it is kind of hard for it not to be), I was mostly concerned with the CGI parts. Glad it isn't!

So thought I would see if I could scrape something together and started looking around. (no need to reinvent the wheel) I found this:...

Re: honeypot
Same here, I had a system setup on my previous mail environment that any email to let say "12345@domain.tld" would be spam. I did not hand this email address out, but did put it on a few webpages in the code or on the page with a comment of any email to this address would get your mailserv...
