Re: Next Major Release of EFA
Hello Shawn, I updated my ClamAV doing just this: "Those that are not familiar with EFA who try to update EFA with yum risk breaking their systems..." (Because the scanner log showed that I needed to) Clam is still stopping the Viruses but in MailWatch>Status, the tagged Virus emails are &...

Re: REPORTS-Active Filters (quit working)
Well - this "issue" seemed to be resolved. I successfully used the same feature from another computer - so obviously it was not server related. I cleared the cache on the first workstation and in a few minutes, what had a "broke" appearance was now resolved. I'm a happy camper ag...

REPORTS-Active Filters (quit working)
Hello all, I've been pleased with EFA and my efforts with forcing the server to "learn" the past few weeks seems to have has an unpleasant result - no longer can I pull any daily "reports" or active filter results for all emails that I know have passed thru this server today. Is ...

remove a domain?
Hello All, I've been running this product since late January 2014 and really love it, now comes time to clean up my domain list as I have a couple of domains that are beyond the ability to view (and remove) from my session when I am viewing the domain screen (the terminal returns about 50 lines). is...

Zipped virus files are getting thru - help!!
I'm not sure what may have changed after my auto-update but now I'm seeing zipped viruses getting thru - is there anything I can check and do to kill them?

Blacklisting large ip blocks
Good Day,
I have attempted to blacklist a large block of ips in MailWatch (take a hammer to kill a fly you know) such as: 1.0.0.0/8
yet moments later, a new SPAM comes in from an ip within that netblock - any tips?

E.F.A. 3.0.0.1 installed - where are the new features?
OK, so I am looking around in here post-upgrade and trying to find these new features:
option to configure cleaned message delivery
Enable quarantine cleanup
- after upgrade I also rebooted just to be sure.

Flush outbound Queue?

Re: Search Quarantine for messages "to"
OK, this question is a logical next one - if "non-spam" storage is turned on, is there already a chron setup to automatically delete mail that was stored to prevent filling the partition that was pre-selected for storage? if there IS one setup, how long will the server default to storing e...

I need a little hint or help learn how to quickly search the QUARANTINE for all messages "To" a certain address within the daily batch - is there a combination to type in the "Jump to message" box to do this?

Greetings from an admiring mail admin
This is a refreshing new product to me which I was able to quickly install and get running. Our history - Our company began mail filtering in the summer of 2000 for our dialup ISP base. We have used Declude and Barracuda. I find that this project is faster running and gives me more detail than the o...

Launching MailWatch
Hello all, I am new to this MX filter product but like what I see so far! I am attempting to migrate from Barracuda 300 filter after 7years. I have successfully installed on my ESI host, (last night) and we are filtering mail already. (Thanks to all who collaborated to make this a viable alternative...
