How to "source" a .conf file

Hi, Does anyone know if there is an easy way to "source" a mailscanner .conf file from another? Like for example, if I wanted to include some special rules for a certain group of e-mails/domains - I could just import the changes to the main ruleset. Currently I have 2 rulesets for filename...

document.xml.rels blocked!

Hi, There's something you should fix. docx files are zip and contain files ending in .xml.rels Unfortunately, the default filename ruleset allows files ending in .xml.rel (no s). /etc/MailScanner/filename.rules.conf: -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------...

Re: MailScanner mailto: false positives

In the meantime,

In

Code: Select all

/etc/MailScanner/MailScanner.conf
I changed:

Code: Select all

Highlight Mailto Phishing = no
I did not notice this until just recently (after hacking around in Message.pm). This may be my solution.

MailScanner mailto: false positives

filename.rules.conf

Hi,

I think it might be useful to be able to edit filename.rules.conf from the website.

-- Same for other config files.

Edit: I think it might be better if I submitted this as a suggestion to MailWatch's github.

How do you even get to the menu. I forgot. I want to check mine to see if it still works as well.

Code: Select all

mysql_upgrade
Thanks r00tsh3ll. Your suggestions worked. The only thing I had to do differently was restart mariadb before running mysql_upgrade (otherwise it gives an error). Then reboot.

Good call man!

I think it's worth noting that the .pp and .mod files weren't changed. (I diff'ed them). The only thing that needs to be done is enabling and starting the php-fpm service.

Change web session timeout

Hi,

I tried changing the web config and it didn't have any effect:

/etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl.conf:
SSLSessionCacheTimeout 1200

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Max
