Re: Release error
OK so with some weekend time to play with the problem, I found the issue was a missing comma in the postfix main.cf inet_interfaces definition between the local host address and the local LAN host address (efa is behind a firewall). For LAN address YY.YY.YY.YY, the line should look like: inet_interf...

Release error
Having a problem with a fresh new install of EFA 4.04 on Rocky 8.9. that I don't see anyone else having posted about. For completeness, my environment (from largely a script based curl install): MailWatch Version: 1.2.21 Postfix Version: 3.5.23 MailScanner Version: 5.5.1 ClamAV Version: 0.103.11 Spa...

Re: NOQUEUE: milter-reject
My thanks too. I had to set up a fresh install of 4.0.4 using the script on HW (non-VM) using Rocky 8.9 and hit this same issue. You'll also find it discussed in more detail here: https://github.com/trusteddomainproject ... issues/179

Re: Rocky Linux 8
I have been idly considering how to migrate our small efa host from CentOS 7 to Rocky 8. The migration steps to a clean new host being somewhat undocumented (https://forum.efa-project.org/viewtopic.php?t=4897) I have been looking at options for live upgrade (possibly using a clone of our current env...

Re: Next Major Release OS Version Survey 2020
Most of my experience is with commercial Linux (SLES) and thus of no help here. I will note that when this sad CentOS news first broke, I was in the process of bringing up a new HP Proliant DL385 Gen 10. I tried installing the latest Debian Stable but had it crashing on driver issues that I could no...

Re: Mailscanner 5.3.4 bug
Concerned and interested in what others are seeing. We are running MailScanner 5.3.4 on Postfix as our outer filter and GroupWise 18.2.1 with DSN enabled on GWIA on the inside. GWIA is configured to relay through MailScanner. Checking our Postfix/MailScanner logs, I am not seeing the errors others ...

Re: Hello
Thank you both for the warm welcome. Still awaiting delivery of a new server next week (I plan to run EFA in KVM) before I can take a stab at it. Having hacked my way through 15 years of MailScanner/SA maintenance first on SendMail, then on Postfix, my basic plan is to install a clean new machine us...

Hello
Salutations from a long time MailScanner user (I have Julian's book!) contemplating transitioning to EFA.
