I can access http://efa.mydomain.com/.well-known/acme-callenge/index.html when I put a index.html file in that directory. I can also access it through https. I have the same problem. Installed fresh VM image (3.0.2.5) and tried to activate Let Encrypt without luck I reinstalled the Image and upgraded to 3.0.2.6 and still have the same problem.
