Are there instructions how to install SSL certs? Is there more than one place to install ? I want for webmin, postfix and Mailwatch as well as for anything else that would require it.

OK so we had our first user change their password in AD since we installed EFA. They said they tried numerous times and could not access the mailwatch page any more.

We need this to be reliable accounts were working with AD authentication when we first sett it up.

Ideas?

ok so we have 5 domains in exchange server but only 1 domain for user authentication (Active Directory)

How can 1 user login and see email for both email accounts? He has 2 user accounts in Active Directory because he has to keep them separate legally.

efa IP is already allowed in my exchange receive connector. any other ideas?

also when using smtp test tool is authentication required for efa to accept the email?

trustwave is the old filter and mail.XXXXXX.org is the alias we use for our mail server

ok so now that I see the users imported from active directory in user management, I tried to test smtp but did not see it go through.

I sent myself a quarantine report got this:

but I never received the report

How can I test the mail flow and where ...

just tested and email goes through ok but does not seem to be filtered. It also never shows on mailwatch recent messages screen.
I pointed our firewall to efa and in efa all domains have been configured in the console

Any ideas??? gotta be close...

sorry but I still have 2 dumb questions:

1. what folder should this be copied to?
( I am using /usr/bin/mailwatch_ldap_sync.sh )

2. what credentials should I run this under? I set it to run as a cron job using root but got an error access denied...

That script is really old :hand: don't use it. The mailwatch tables don't even look like this any more and have evolved since then.

Although a couple other scripts are out on the forums, I don't recommend them.

I think we need to make a script that is compatible with the newer versions of ...

I need for users to see their incoming mail queues.
I want minimal configuration required by users.
Asking them all to login and create their account is not going to be consistent, some will some wont.
All will complain (directly to the CEO) if something gets blocked by mistake.
IT deportment ...

just curious about a new user that may have had an exchange mailbox created but not an account in EFA. What happens to the incoming mail? Does he or admins get an email report even though he doesn't have an account in EFA yet? I am trying to avoid losing anything, and an email would force him to ...

SO I was curious if you cant create a script soon to import all users, is there a manual way to create all users from a csv file? Would I need their passwords?

I actually put the script in the cron daily folder (/etc/cron.daily)
I used the username: MAILWATCH

and the " MAILWATCHSQLPWD " password found in (/etc/EFA-Config)

still not populating users.

I would like to automatically import ALL AD users in version 3.0.2.3

I can add AD users by manually having them login but I want to import them automatically from AD so if I add a new user in AD within a set schedule they will appear in EFA /Mailwatch user management.
