Issue when reporting email as spam
Hi When I report mail from Outlook on our network (using wired cables and not from a cell phone), I get the following message come back at me. Our system indicates that you are on an external or untrusted network. If your mail administration stores all mail in quarantine, you can access your spam qu...

Re: Outgoing Mail
you need to configure the send connector - a username and password will be required to authenticate with the EFA appliance. (I think - or at least, that's what I needed to do to get it to accept email from my exchange server)

Run this:
Code: Select all
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mailwatch/1.2.0/develop/upgrade.php sudo /usr/bin/php ./upgrade.php
Just done my update also and had the same issue - this also fixed mine. Thanks

Thanks +1
This fixed mine too as it hadn't been able to upgrade since 3.0.1.7
Just upgrading it now to 3.0.1.9 and on-wards.

error when updating to 3.0.1.9
Hi I received an update notice tonight so I ran the update sequence via option 14. After the core update, and restart, when I select 14 again to do the efa update, I now get a constant error saying the version file downloaded does not seem to be valid. Exiting now. Looking on the forum, this was ask...

Can I create an Administrator that is not able to do everything?
I have a requirement to create an administrator that is able to release mails if they are seen as spam (but aren't). I made them a domain administrator, but the option to release emails is not there... However, the only way that I can see is to allow this is to make them an administrator, which, I r...

Hi I've just upgraded to 3.0.1.6 One immediate thing I've noticed is that when I click on the # symbol beside the relevant email, I only see Received on, Recevied on and Recevied from, whereas before, I could open the email, add it to spam / ham, and see the contents. Is this by design, an error wit...

Hi CPhillips - thanks for the PM Unfortunately, due to restrictions set to new users (and I guess that it's despite of the exhaustive anti robot measures it's to stop mass mailings by new users) I cannot reply to you directly. I followed this post https://forum.efa-project.org/viewtopic.php?t=444 I ...

How do I find out why SpamAssassin has not recognised an email as spam?
I have a user - unfortunately, he's my boss - his email accounts are full of spam. I've just installed EFA today - I'm really not a linux person either, but do have about 25 years in various IT roles, so I kind of know my way around a bit. One specific email he got through had the following spam rep...

Hello from NW England
Just saying Hello as I am evaluating this spam filter - I expect to ask many questions if I can't find the answers in one of these forums.
Good to be here though.
