The file permissions were all fine. And after deleting the phishing.bad.sites.conf.master.gz file and running the update again, it worked.
Thanks for your help
I tried running ms-update-phishing but I got permission denied and update failed errors. I also tried running as root with same errors. I've pasted the output below. Thanks for your help :D
I'm having an issue with the safe and bad sites conf files (phishing.safe.sites.conf custom etc.). Maybe there's a better way of doing this or I'm doing it wrong. I've added dropbox to the safe list, but because it's in the bad list it doesn't work. If I remove it from the bad list, then ...
Hey all, I'm bringing back an old post, sorry...lol. I've searched the forum for similar/later posts with no luck.
Am I missing something, can this still not be done. I vaguely remember it working on EFA3 but I could be mistaken. I'm on EFA4 now and I can't find a way to change the GUI port ...
I'm new to eFa but from what I can tell you have to use the web interface and manually mark them. You can do that as admin or as a normal user. Otherwise use inline signatures.
I'm still wondering if there is a way to filter the spam report. I know we can hide the bad content emails from users but can we do this for the report too?.. The report also still includes spam email from the previous reports which makes them very long and repetitive.
Does the Spam Report email have some way of ordering the list. It would be good if we could order it by the spam score. It would also be good if we could hide from the list spam above a certain score?
I would just like to verify that if I click the release link in the Spam Report does that automatically mark that released email as HAM or do I still need to mark it manually?
I'd also like to know if this is possible. Having to log into eFa just to mark something as SPAM is kind of annoying. It would be much easier to click somewhere in the email and mark it SPAM or HAM?
